CURRICULUM VITAE Name: Hernqvist, Per Håkan Erik Born: 1950-01-09 Address: Alfhöjdsgatan 6, 431 38 Mölndal Telephone: 031-160683 mobile 0709-670009 Mail: Profile and qualities:
I have worked in the pharmaceutical business for 39 years, first within marketing and the last 30 years within clinical research. In this area I have conducted all moments within clinical trials, from protocol development to report and publication. I have also been responsible author of an expert report and a study summary in an application for a new indication. I have been monitoring studies for 17 years and in parallel been heading a clinical research department with the responsibility for all phase II-IV studies within the Gastrointestinal Area (Losec and Nexium) in Sweden for AstraZeneca during 1983-2003. Year 2003 AstraZencea changed to a more generic, non therapeutic area managed, organization and my job became more focused on line management and coaching of coworkers (18 persons during 2009). After leaving AstraZeneca in 2010 I have had several various assignments through my own consultant agency, among others at Mölnlycke Health Care, Quintiles and Abigo Medical. My strength is to see complex issues from a practical point of view, simplifying work while maintaining quality standards according to ICH or SOPs. I am a diplomatic person, having the ability to communicate difficult matters in a positive way, and also having the ability to encourage and motivate other people to develop and do more than is expected from them.
