Jenny's Testimony:
Saw Dr.St Amand last month. He was so nice and warm and kind-hearted. Not at all what I expected, so I was very pleasantly surprised. So, finally after almost 5 months, I am having good days. Phenomenal days, actually. I am back in the gym, doing 30 min of cardio a day (baby steps, I will get back up to 60 min soon), the house is FINALLY really clean (so relieved I can be my anally clean self again), and I am no longer taking narcotic pain killers. I am taking ultram, but at least it is not narcotic. I am starting to enjoy Seattle and I got new hiking boot last weekend so I can start hiking again. My friend is really into outdoors stuff and he is going to take me to these ice caves first. He said it is a short hike, only 1 mile or so, so that is a good start. I am reminded of your story about the Great Wall of China. I am also looking forward to rock climbing again. Couldn't do it in Hawaii because it is not safe to climb lava. Too sharp and too brittle. Ya know, I never put down what I hope to do in a year because I did not think I would ever feel better but I know what I want it to be. I want to go to India. I have always been drawn there for some reason and I need to find out what that reason is. I want to thank you for being patient with me and encouraging me to stick with it. I also thank you for understanding my anger. I have let go of a lot of my anger, but it creeps up from time to time. It's funny. Just when I was ready to give up and I thought I would never feel better or get to do things again, I started feeling better. Thank god for the six month commitment (lol). I want to thank Vickie too but I do not have her e-mail. You guys saved my life. I mean that too. If not for you and the guai treatment, I would not be writing this letter right now. I am so grateful. I am starting my own jewelry company. I have been a goldsmith and a silversmith for ten years, but I never used it really until now. I can do this at home and I can be my own boss. It will start with only silver because I cannot afford gold yet, but I am very excited and very optimistic. I even have an investor, albeit a small investment (tools and torches), but I will take any help I can get. My ex is going to make a website for me for free, so I guess he is kind of an investor too. I know if he ever wanted jewelry made he would come to me and I would only charge him what it cost me for the gold and stones. I always wanted to do this and now I finally have the opportunity. If you want to share this with others, please feel free to do so. Or if you like, I can type up a testimonial. My advice to others would be stick with it. If you told me a month ago that I would feel this good now and be able to do the things I can again, I would not have believed you, but it really is like night and day for me. Like I just woke up one morning last week and felt really good and not tired. Thank you again and I hope to hear from you. Jenn Jenn's Testimony continued.
Dear Annette and to my fellow IFOGers. I cannot believe what I did yesterday, especially given the fact that a month ago, I could barely get out of bed. I am getting better every day now and I am no longer taking percocet, which is HUGE for me as I was taking a lot of them for my pain. But the really huge thing I wanted to tell you was that yesterday I summited Mt. Pilchuck, outside of Seattle. It was a hike that is rated intermediate and goes from 3,000 ft. to 5,400 ft. The majority of the trail is through extremely rocky terrain and goes up at a sharp incline. I still can't believe I did it or was able to do it so soon. It was such an amazing feeling, not only because it was a huge climb and I kept up with my friend, but if you told me a month ago I would be able to do that today, I would have laughed in your face. I just wanted you all to know how grateful I am and how happy I am to have my life back. For me, the guai worked faster than I expected (in about 5 months) and when it got bad before it got good, it was REALLY REALLY bad. I have never felt pain like that in my life but NOW, except for stiffness in the morning, I am relatively pain free and able to do things I haven't been able to do for over a year. I just want everyone to know, especially the newbies, that they should not give up, no matter how bad they cycle, in those first six months. It REALLY DOES WORK, you just have to be patient and deal with it cuz you WILL feel better. I mean, I climbed a mountain yesterday and the only thing that is sore are my calves but so are my friend's and he is "well" so I figure that soreness is par for the course of what we did and not the fibro. Also, Annette, I am seeing a really good rheumatologist here in the Seattle area who knows about the guai protocol and even though he does not use it all the time, he is supportive of it and admits he has seen positive results with it. He is also familiar with Dr. St Amand. I tell you this because I had such a difficult time finding a doctor here that even knew, or believed in Fibro and if someone were to move here, perhaps they wouldn't have to go through what I had to find a good doc. His name is Richard AH Jimenez and he is in Edmunds Washington. I feel he was more supportive of it than my doc in Hawaii was and he talked to me for like an hour and a half and treated me like a person not an illness, you know? well, hope you are all doing well.thanks for everything. by the way, I forgot to mention it was a six mile hike.thank you so much for saving my life Annette. You might not realize but you really did jenny jenn
