Don’t forget to send in your entries for our Christmas competition. For Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 the competition is to design a
collage with the theme ‘A Reindeer’. The competition for years 3, 4, 5 and 6 is to write an original short story in which a reindeer is
included in it in some way – no more than 200 words. Entries in by Friday 13th December.

YOUNG VOICES

We have now ordered all of the T-shirts ready for the event. Please come and join us on Saturday as we are singing at 3.00 p.m. at The Rock in Tewkesbury Road. PANTOMIME
Today was the last day for paying the pantomime money. CHRISTMAS LUNCH
Next Friday (6th December) is the last day for ordering the Christmas lunch. SENDING MONEY TO SCHOOL
Could we please remind you that no money will be accepted unless it is put in a sealed envelope with your child’s name, the event and class on it. BONUS BALL
If you are interested in taking part in our Bonus Ball to raise money for the PTA please let us know. £25 goes to the weekly winner and
£24 will go to the PTA. Please speak to Miss Price if you require further details.

YEAR 2 ASSEMBLY

Thank you to those parents who joined us for Year two assembly which was based on the ‘Unfortunate Stuarts’. They covered the Gun
Powder Plot, and The Plague and did some wonderful dancing. They used the puppets that they had made and showed their posters
and had a recapture of the visit from the fire crew with their fire engine.

BOOK FAIR

Don’t forget our book fair runs through to next Tuesday, a good chance to buy for Christmas. For every book sold the school will receive one free – please come along and view. On Monday we will be providing tea and coffee. CROSS COUNTRY
The Key Stage 2 cross country yesterday was an amazing event. All of the children tried really hard and the improvement was
phenomenal. Some even ran the two miles which was a great achievement. Our thanks to those parents who came to support us, we
would love more parents to join us next time.

BIKES & SCOOTERS

Reminder – bikes and scooters must be secured with a lock in the cycle rack at the front of the school, they cannot be left inside the main reception area. 4th December - Year 3/4 class assembly - PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATE
6th December – Reception and Year 1 singing at the Methodist Church p.m.
11th December – 2.00 p.m. – Nativity Play to parents
13th December – Christmas Fayre
17th December – School Christmas Lunch & School trip to the pantomime at the Everyman Theatre
18th December – Year 5/6 class assembly
19th December – Carol Service at Christchurch – all welcome
20th December – Break up for Christmas holidays at 1.30 p.m.
